An introduction...

"So, who is this 'Connor' and what is he doing blogging" you may ask. Well let me answer that for you!

My name is Connor (as you've already guessed), and I have a burning passion for video games and gaming in general. I am 17 year old student from the UK currently studying Media studies, Business studies and IT at Sixth Form.

'The Adventure Begins' - quite literally

The first game I ever remember playing is Spyro The Dragon on the Playstation One. Playing as a talking purple dragon with a dragonfly as a companion really caught my interest as a child, charging around headbutting fluorescent green enemies and chests as I pleased.

I guess being in control of what was happening on screen was the major factor for me. Don't get me wrong, I do love sitting back and watching a great movie, getting really into the story that was being shown before me, but being able to control the movements and actions of the characters on screen really made me want to play video games regularly.

Ever since then, I have expanded my horizons in terms of gaming, trying different genres and consoles searching to find the perfect game for me, and from that, I can tell you, I'm still searching. There are no limitations to video gaming, from the standard FPS to inspired platformers, the list is endless. I don't believe I will ever find the perfect game for me. I mean I enjoy sports games, such as FIFA, the standard FPS, like Call of Duty, platformers such as Spyro, etc. If someone could make one big game including all these genres I'd gladly give it a go, but until then, I'll keep searching.

All I know is that video gaming is a huge part of my life and forever will be!
